We had a great summer with the tennis teams, and we had several new families join us. Our coaches, Jackson Bowen, Heath Witzen, Nick Collins, and Lee Kincheloe all did terrific jobs.

We had a few new events that we hope to do again such as the First Annual Parent/Child Tournament. It was great fun playing tennis with some of the moms and dads from the neighborhood, and it was a good opportunity for the parents to play with their kids too. Mike and Michelle Garbutt were our champions, and Iron Man Mike played 12 matches in 2 days as he played in the tournament with all 3 of his kids!

Jackson has also been heading up a fall program on Saturday mornings with some of the kids and parents in the neighborhood who want to improve their tennis skills and have fun doing it. For more information about this program, you can e-mail Jackson directly at jaxonbowen@yahoo.com.
