Hey neighbors!

Our Annual Pig Pickin is back again!! Brendan Quinn will be leading the team smoking the pig again this year, so yall KNOW it’ll be delicious! As in years past, this is a potluck event, please plan accordingly. Please note this is on SUNDAY before Labor Day it is NOT actual Labor Day which is MONDAY. Our team of volunteers needs Labor Day to recuperate from staying up all night. Looking forward to another GREAT turn out this year!

Please utilize the sign up so we can prepare adequate amounts of BBQ! I’m not going to assign dishes by last name this year however please if you see an excess of sign ups in one category consider signing up for a different one. Black Horse Run will provide pulled pork, chicken for those that do not eat pork, veggie burgers upon request only (please reach out to me with the specified number you need so I can plan accordingly),buns, bbq sauce, slaw, plates, napkins, and utensils. 

Please bring your own serving utensils, we have a few in the event of an emergency but not enough for everyone’s dishes. Please be sure your dish is large enough to share, if you’re bringing a guest with you please bring enough to accommodate. Bring your own beverages and chairs. Tables will be set up for the food. The picnic tables and pool area may be utilized but typically get used up quickly as this event is well attended!
